whatcha ona bout girl??
A retrospective on the inner workings of love, flying pancakes, mensa disasters, dandelion cookies, number bending, super salt, bubblegum oysters, chicken spit, crystal kidneys, guerilla carrots, polychromatic tofu, paraphysics, tender vigilanties, black sand, phillastine placebos, wood soup, buttered shuttlecocks, apostrophe training, fish whips, bleeding speed, plastic fantastic lobster telephones, venus drug rehab, clowns on fire, kiosks on a leash, marshmello overcoats, bottled light, fried blood, unbridled hyperthyroidism, folding wine, amygdula tickling, fainting in coils, hamburgers for the apocalypse, plastic memes, and conjugal fritters.....well...the love parts true

losing, drinking games and sinatra

Well the weekend wasn’t all it was cracked up to be. Got all ready for the game and ……we lost…....granted it was the national champs we were playing against but they basically handed us our ass. Once the thrill of losing was over the rest of the weekend didn’t exactly satisfy. I spent the rest of the weekend (literally) in the gym (surprise, surprise). Played a few drinking games by myself (I won those) and bemoaned the loss of an ex girlfriend. You know how all those thoughts creep up that your ex is on a yacht somewhere off the coast of Mexico having the time of her life with some guy that doesn’t deserve her but loves to drool on her body anyway. On the upside I got a real kick out of listening to Sinatra. Man old blue eyes could really do it!! You know? That would have been great to share with someone…top down…. going to vegas…ahhh…. a dream in waiting.

so how did you lose "the girl"?

there are ways to get her back...

hehehehe Charmaine thanks for asking! I had everything a man could want in a woman (EVERYTHING). and I didnt "lose" her in a classic sense.... I gave her up because she couldnt work my kids into her heart and one day she just "lost it" and i had to choose between her or my kids... she still crys about it when I talk to her and my life is very empty for the moment but I made the right choice. As for getting her back she has said she was sorry but she never tried to fix the problem and thought I would just "sweep it under the rug" and let her back in because we were soulmates. After it was clear that she would have to grow as a person to make things right....she chose another path. In her eagerness to heal what she had broken she went out partying AND sleeping around to ease her pain AND bury our memory AND make me jealous. It had the opposite affect on me. So just like the butterfly poem....I had to let her go.....

Sometimes i think it might be more fair to kids who already have to suffer the consequences of a broken to home to keep them from meeting or bonding with anyone you date until you are certain you are walking down the aisle.

Some folks even think you should focus on your kids until they are 18 and refrain from dating at all. groan.

hehehe Im glad im not dating the latter! hehehe Personally I think its good to show the kids what a healthy relationship is all about...since most divorces are a result of some disfunction ..the kids appreciate seeing a healthy relationship... make sense?

Ok, blah blah blah, is that your ass in that photo? Wow, a very nice ass in deed. Now if someone handed me that ass... well that would be ok. LOL! (Strictly teasing... I swear).
